An outreach event to area youth, community service agencies, & volunteer organizations.

What:

A pre-game carnival followed by a baseball game to see the Razorbacks take on Louisiana Monroe; An opportunity to support area youth in a fun-filled and safe environment.

Who:

University of Arkansas Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) sponsor activities for area Fayetteville and Springdale youth, ages 6-12 years old, associated with local educational and community service groups (i.e. Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Girl Scouts, etc.). Local service organizations (i.e. Lions Club, etc.) are invited to volunteer.

When & Where:

Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Jenelle Y. Hembree Alumni House (corner of Razorback & Maple Rd). **Pre-game carnival begins at 4:30p.m., followed by a 6:35 p.m. baseball game at Baum Stadium.

Why:

An opportunity for current students to support our Razorback friends and family.

• Only youth associated with participating organizations may attend
• All food & activities are FREE!
• Transportation is provided to Baum Stadium from the Arkansas Alumni Association
• Event limited to ages 6-12

Registered Student Organizations:

To sponsor an activity, RSOs must:

• Provide 5-7 members to be present from 5p.m.-6:30p.m.
• Have activity set up by 4:15p.m.; clean-up at 6:30p.m.
• Provide all supplies needed for your chosen activity to accommodate 300 youth participants
• Tables, chairs, & food will be provided

Interested in helping, but you cannot sponsor an activity?

• We need help with serving pizza, attending to children with special needs, and just hanging-out with the youth participants.
